I'm currently a junior at Columbia studying computer science. I'm interested in applying recent advancements in machine learning to the study of neural representations and information processing. My current work focuses on decoding neural signals using deep neural network architectures, especially encoder-decoder transformers. I'm also interested in federal government policy on AI and new technologies—and how policymakers can both effectively regulate and take advantage of recent breakthroughs in science.
